📱 Pocket IDE: Autonomous Agentic Coding for Mobile

Autonomous Agentic Coding for Mobile: An AI-first pair-programming IDE designed specifically for smartphones.

Pocket IDE brings autonomous agentic code generation and desktop-grade developer tooling to a smooth 60fps mobile touch interface. It features a continuous horizontal ViewPager slider that expands dynamically from a clean 3-panel core into a full 5-panel development studio when commands execute or live servers launch.

🌟 The Mobile Architecture

Clean Default State (3 Core Panels)

• Panel 1: Explorer (Left): Interactive project file tree, folder toggles, Git modified badges, and branch switching.
• Panel 2: Code Workspace (Center): High-performance CodeMirror 6 editor with syntax highlighting, language servers, multi-tab bar, and dedicated mobile touch accessory toolbar (Tab, {, }, =>, ;, $, ()).
• Panel 3: Agent Chat (Right): Autonomous agentic AI pair programmer with voice dictation (Groq Whisper), transparent Chain-of-Thought reasoning, subagent tool execution logs, and review checkpoints.

Dynamic Context-Aware Expansion (5 Panels On-Demand)

• Panel 4: Terminal (Dynamic): Automatically mounts when the agent or user executes shell commands (npm install, pytest, cargo build), powered by xterm.js and a pseudo-terminal (PTY) bridge executing directly inside Termux on Android.
• Panel 5: Live WebView (Dynamic): Automatically mounts when a web development server starts (localhost:5173, 3000), rendering the live web application inside a sandboxed mobile browser with console error monitoring and live reload.

⚡ Key Engineering Highlights

• Dual-Engine Execution Sandbox: Native Linux execution via Termux PTY bridge directly on Android—no remote VPS or cloud servers required.
• Synapse-X Autonomous Engine: Deep agentic reasoning capable of multi-file project scaffolding, AST refactoring, dependency configuration, and self-healing error loops.
• Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK): Seamless switching between local on-device models (Ollama, GGUF via llama.cpp) and frontier cloud models (Gemini 2.5 Flash, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, NVIDIA NIM).
• Pocket Store Extension Ecosystem: Support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, community plugins, and specialized domain skills.
• Touch-Optimized Haptics & Gestures: Edge swipe gestures for rapid panel navigation, frictionless code navigation, and visual diff reviews.
